BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT A WEBINAR IS?
What is a Webinar? Webinar is short for web-based seminar. A webinar is a live and interactive 60-minute seminar that will allow you to listen to the presenter, view the session presentation online, and ask questions throughout the presentation via your keyboard, which will be addressed in the conclusion of the presentation.
What happens during a webinar? You will login to the website link for an audio and visual presentation of the seminar. You will listen to the speaker/s and view their presentation. You will be able to communicate with the presenter via your keyboard, you do not need to verbally participate.
What equipment do I need to participant in a webinar? All you need is a computer with speakers so you can hear the presentation, and a reliable internet connection.
Will Mac users be able to access webinars? Absolutely. Both PC and Mac users can access the webinars. Just follow the instructions when you click the link to access the webinar.
What happens once I am registered? Once registered you will receive a confirmation email including the following information:
- The web link instructions on how to participate in the webinar.
- You will receive a link to download a FREE e-book as a gift for signing uAp to the webinar.
- Information on how to ask questions during the questions/answer period.
But the real beauty of webinars is that you can record them and have a back catalogue of interactive videos or pod casts. You can choose to keep these on your website in a member secure area, give out freely to anybody that visits your website, or even sell them as an information source through your website. The choice is yours what you do with them after you run the webinar! The only thing that would affect the lifespan of a webinar is the nature of the content that you put in them.
We have experimented with many formats, but perhaps the most successful formula is the 2 person format, with an expert and either a guest or another expert in attendance. Webinars bring a whole other dimension to your business and showcasing you as the expert in your field!
